Packaging

Phanteks ships the Eclipse P500A in a brown cardboard box with the name of the case on the front and an outlined interior shot on the back. Both smaller sides continue that design, with one sticker mentioning the color of the case under a bar code.

The chassis itself is protected extremely well with cardboard re-enforced foam spacers, and a cloth bag of the same color further protects it from scratches and dents during shipping.

Contents

Inside another well-branded cardboard box, you will find a few zip ties and the Phanteks signature box with sorted screws, as well as a basic, well-written assembly guide and warranty information pamphlet.

You will also get two separately packaged hard-drive cages that may be used for both 3.5" and 2.5" drives. You may stack these, with a tension clip holding them together firmly. On top of that, Phanteks includes a metal piece that is meant to keep the GPU from sagging; as we will see further on, it is fairly unique. A plastic base for vertical GPU-mounting hardware has been included as well.
