Packaging

Phanteks ships the Evolv X in a brown cardboard box with the its name on front and an outlined interior shot on the back. Both smaller sides continue in that vein, and a sticker mentions the color of the case below a bar code.

The chassis is protected extremely well with cardboard-reinforced foam spacers, and a cloth bag of the same color further protects it from scratches and dents during shipping.

Contents

Inside another well-branded cardboard box, you will find a few zip ties and the Phanteks signature box with sorted screws, as well as a well-written assembly guide and warranty information pamphlet.

You will also get four separately packaged hard-drive cages that may be used for both 3.5" and 2.5" drives. You may stack these, with a tension clip holding them together firmly. Interestingly enough, these are black, which is quite in stark contrast to the amount of effort Phanteks has put into making the interior of this color variant of the Evolv X all white. Thus, it is best to use these underneath the shroud to hide them from view.

On top of that, Phanteks includes a metal piece meant to keep the GPU from sagging, which we have already seen included with the Eclipse P500A, for example. A plastic base for vertical GPU-mounting hardware has been included as well. Phanteks rounds things off with a metal plate to block off the top AIO/fan bracket, as well as some zip ties and a company plaque.
