AMD's latest cards have been designed with power efficiency in mind, but the PowerColor PCS+ HD 5770 still requires a single 6-pin PCI-E power connector - just like the reference design.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Hynix, and carry the model number H5GQ1H24AFR-T2C. They are specified to run at 1250 MHz (5000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
In my opinion this is the clear highlight of the PowerColor HD 5770 PCS++. The Volterra VT1165 voltage regulator supports I2C which means that GPU voltage can be adjusted easily via software.
This is AMD's Juniper GPU, it comes with 1040 million transistors, and is produced on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan.
