Introduction

Pulsar Logo

Founded in 2020, Pulsar is a gaming peripherals company based in Korea. Named after American physicist Richard Feynman, Feinmann is a sub-brand of Pulsar set to deliver particularly premium or exotic products. The F01 is the first product launched under this brand, and comes with a magnesium alloy shell, for a weight of no more than 46 g. The shape is that of the right-handed ergonomic Xlite series, but the F01 ends up being slightly smaller than the Xlite V3 "Medium" (Size 2), and could be described as a "Size 1.5" within that nomenclature. For the sensor, Pulsar's own XS-1 capable of 32,000 CPI sees use, which is a customized PixArt PAW3950, allowing for CPI adjustment in increments of 10. Kailh GO optical switches rated for 80 million actuations are used for the main buttons, and a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz is supported in wireless operation. The wireless dongle is embedded in the docking station, which is the only way to charge the F01, as there is no USB connection. The box includes a set of Supergrip grip tape and a set of UHMWPE dot skates.
