Packaging & Contents

The Themis from Raijintek is sealed in a rather small box that measures roughly 19 cm in height, 12 cm in length, and 9.5 cm in width. The front of the box has an image of the CPU cooler, the company logo, and product name. The left side lists its specifications and the back has some angled close-up shots of the cooler itself. The company website URL can be found in the very bottom-left corner on the back.

The right side lists features of the Themis CPU cooler, and the top has a small paragraph listing a few of the cooler's features along with the fact that it was "Designed in Germany". The box is small yet interesting to look at—the company's colors make it stand out.

Opening the box shows the mounting hardware on top. A simple piece of cardboard below that protects and separates the fan from the heatsink. In my case, the package did not protect the cooling fins as they were bent to various degrees. While they were easily bent back into their proper shape, better packaging would certainly eliminate such problems.

The Raijintek Themis comes with everything you need to properly install the unit into any modern Intel- or AMD-based system. The mounting system, while somewhat unrefined, consists of four backplate screws, four black spacers, four LGA2011 screws, four nuts, two M3 screws, five rubber-fan mounts, and a packet of thermal compound. The mounting hardware is pretty straightforward with its simple design and universal socket support. A simple instruction booklet by Raijintek keeps the hardware needed to a minimum and simplifies the installation procedure.
