Razer Cobra Pro Review

Shape

Aesthetics and minor differences in its dimensions aside, the shape of the Cobra matches that of the Viper Mini almost exactly. Much like the latter, the Cobra Pro is a small and narrow mouse, differing from its big brother, the Viper, in several aspects. The Cobra Pro has a much more pronounced hump, accompanied by the front and back flaring out more, resulting in the Cobra Pro being more successful in filling the hand. When comparing the Cobra Pro to the Viper Mini, the differences are more subtle. The hump sits marginally lower on the Cobra Pro, the front appears ever so slightly wider, the scroll wheel is smaller, and the Cobra Pro is a bit longer. The comfort grooves on the main buttons are similarly deep, but the texture on the main buttons and sides is notably different, with the Cobra Pro featuring rubber side grips and a smoother surface on the main buttons. Overall, the changes aren't significant enough to affect the feeling in hand, though the Cobra Pro definitely isn't just a Viper Mini Wireless, either.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Cobra Pro is mostly suited for claw and fingertip grip. It is a small mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which makes it more suitable for medium to small hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Cobra Pro very comfortable in claw grip.
