RedGiant A03 Ossicle In-ears Review

Value and Conclusion

  • The RedGiant A03 Ossicle in-ears are available for $149.
  • Lots of bass
  • Good sound quality across the board
  • Good tip selection
  • Good price, for what they are
  • Remote and microphone
  • Annoying strain reliefs
  • Hard to get a good fit
  • Low quality pouch
  • High price
The RedGiant A03 Ossicle in-ears cater to the bass hungry crowd. The bass is pumped up which makes them good for rap, R&B and the likes. The main problems with these in-ears are mostly related to fit and the slightly congested sound they provide.
The dual dynamic driver setup is definitely providing enough low end grunt to satisfy even the most enthusiastic bass heads out there. Because of the sound signature these in-ears will sound quite alright with most contemporary music. For those looking for a set of neutral sounding in-ears these are not for you.

Review updated 19-01-2012 to reflect the bundle that the actual product ships with. The build quality is now a bit better on all components and the fit kit now includes silicone rings for better seal and comfort. The rings improve the fit quite a bit which alleviates some of the difficulties we had with the initial sample therefore the score has been updated to 7.9 from 7.9.
