The Package

The Roccat Cross comes in a delightful, lavishly painted box depicting pretty, beanie-wearing people contemplating and grinning at their phones. If I didn't know better, a quick glance at the box would lead me to believe it contained portable headphones rather than a device that will primarily be used as a gaming headset. The contents of the box are well protected and should have no problem surviving if your delivery person has a bad day at work.


The box contains the headset itself, two microphones affixed to their corresponding cables, and a foldable booklet marked "Important Document". The latter includes an overview of the headset's functions, guidelines for potential hearing impairments in case of long-lasting usage at extreme volumes, and other information that may interest you if this is the first source of sound you've ever encountered in your entire life. If you plan to read its printed text, have a magnifying glass at the ready.
