Introduction

ROCCAT Logo

ROCCAT is one of the major gaming brands out there. ROCCAT's product portfolio has been expanding rapidly ever since the company was formed some years ago. The initial response on their first high performance gaming mouse dubbed Kone was great, now they have released a revised version which remedies many of the small issues on the original Kone mouse. The new mouse is called Kone[+] and features a 6000 DPI laser sensor (Avago ADNS-9500 type).

As the name suggests the Kone[+] is an evolution of the original mouse, a refined version with slightly better specifications. The design of the mouse has changed somewhat making the Kone[+] bulkier. Ergonomics wise this is definitely a welcome tweak for all of us with larger than normal hands. The shape has become less organic, but still features some bulges aimed at providing good support for thumb and palm.
