Shape

As suggested by the dimensions, the shape of the Kone XP Air is very similar to that of the Kone Pro. The Kone XP Air is slightly wider at the front, and due to the additional button on the thumb rest, it ends up slightly wider there, but other than that, the two mice are a match. Much like the Kone Pro, the Kone XP Air can be described as a blend between the smaller Kone Pure Ultra and larger Kone EMP. The hump is centered and slopes down gradually towards both ends, while being fairly flat across its width. The raised left side commonly encountered on right-handed ergonomic designs is barely pronounced, leading to a profile that is closer to that of many ambidextrous designs. While the front stays rather slim, the back widens considerably, with the ledge on the right and thumb groove on the left side providing ample space for the fingers to rest gently. Just like earlier Kone releases, the main buttons lack comfort grooves entirely. Overall, a refined design focused on comfort that works accordingly well in practice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Kone XP Air generally suits palm and claw grip the most. It is a medium-sized mouse with a mildly pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Kone XP Air very comfortable in claw grip.
