The black and gray theme here, while neutral, will likely appeal to some as it lacks RGB LEDs. In a time when RGB everything seems to be the order of the day, Scythe has stayed classy, which is a breath of fresh air. That said, the cooler doesn't stand out much and instead blends in with its surroundings, which may not be a bad thing depending on your tastes.


While the cooler mentions its exceptional memory clearance and being built for SFF systems, I have to wonder how true that will be. For example, on our test bench, if you install the cooler as shown above, memory clearance is perfect, but the heatsink infringes on the first expansion slot (left blank on the MSI motherboard), which may prove problematic on some Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboards. While I don't expect it to be an issue, it was something I thought worth mentioning as an issue you may encounter.
