The Power Supply

Externally the power supply is not really flashy. No LEDs or shining surfaces, however, there are the trademark FOCUS triangles stamped on the sides of the case. It is finished in matte black paint. The PSU is exactly the standard non-extended depth of 140 mm, making it easily fit any ATX chassis.


The front of the PSU has a built-in grille providing plenty of access for the 135 mm fan packed behind. On the opposite side of the FOCUS GX 3.0 we find the electrical specifications.


At the exhaust we have a standard C14 inlet for the AC cable, as well as an on/off switch and the switch to enable or disable hybrid fan operation. At the front we have modular ports for one 24 pin ATX cable, up to five peripheral cables, one 12VHPWR port and up to five PCIe / EPS 12 V ports.

For its fairly compact size the FOCUS GX ATX 3.0 850 W weighs in at a respectable 1.62 kg.
