The only program that the bundled Shuttle software disc includes is OMNINAS Finder. It allows you to find and connect to the IP address of the KD22 on your network. The same program also allows you to map or delete network drives.


The Quick Installation Wizard will allow you to easily set the KD22 up once you install the HDD(s) and connect all the required cables.


This interface allows you to pick the services you want enabled, and the RAID mode you prefer. Once you make all selections, you will have to wait for a few minutes for the NAS to initialize. As you can see in the above screenshots, the whole procedure is really easy to follow and fool-proof enough, even for novice users. Remember to take a look at the user's manual in the unlikely case of getting stuck at some point. That is, after all, its purpose.
