The SilverStone FARA 512Z being reviewed represents a compact, ARGB fan equipped and airflow focused chassis. With its mesh front and three pre-installed front intake fans, it is designed to keep your components cool while also offering a few unique features like a 90° rotatable expansion slot bracket for vertical GPU support as well as a mounting bracket for custom liquid cooling solutions.

The SilverStone FARA 512Z ships in a brown cardboard box with an image of the chassis on both the larger parts. On one of the smaller panels, there is a compact list of features and specifications, while the other covers that same feature list in ten different languages.


SilverStone uses fairly compact Styrofoam spacers to hold the case in place during shipping and protect it from potential damage. A plastic bag has been placed over the chassis for an added layer to keep fingerprints and scratches away.
