SKYLOONG GK104 Pro Dual Screen Wireless Keyboard Review

Packaging and Accessories

SKYLOONG is somewhat inconsistent with its unboxing experience, with some keyboards getting more colorful and specific product boxes and then many others getting this generic gray one we see above. The only difference between this and others we've seen before is just the size of the box itself, which varies based on the keyboard form factor. On the front is just the brand name given an iridescent finish, with the local factory mentioned on the back at a corner. There is a sticker on the side to inform you of the exact unit inside but good luck reading it if you can't speak the language. This area is where SKYLOONG needs to improve upon sooner than later. The saving grace is that ideally the purchasing customer is already aware of what they have bought! A double flap on the side keeps the contents in place during transit, and inside we see the keyboard protected further by foam on the side, a wax paper wrap, and a hard plastic dust cover. There are a lot of accessories which are placed haphazardly, with some above and others to the side but flowing on top of the keyboard. I don't think anyone could claim this is a premium packaging design.

SKYLOONG is generous on the accessory front, beginning with an invaluable multi-language user manual going through all the pre-programmed controls and customization options. There is no online manual or user guide as of the date I write this review, so you better not lose this sheet! We also get the expected USB Type-C to Type-C cable for connectivity and charging the internal battery, nine spare switches of the same kind as used on the keyboard, a female USB Type-C to Type-A adapter, a combination metal wire-style keycap puller and switch remover tool, a standard space bar stabilizer set fully assembled and lubed already, spare gaskets and a hex key, and the remaining keycaps from the full keycap set used in the assembly of your specific keyboard. Note that these keycaps are not necessarily going to work on this keyboard, it's just a case of SKYLOONG giving you what you have already paid for.
