Packaging
Much like the LIX Plus, the GEM Plus arrives in a solid plastic box. Aside from the mouse, one finds a user guide, sticker, and set of replacement mouse feet inside.
Weight
My scale shows around 67 g (+/- 1 g), which is exactly in line with the weight cited by SPC Gear. The LIX Plus weighed in at 59 g, but had to resort to holes from top to bottom to achieve that figure. The GEM Plus only has holes on the bottom, so ending up at a weight slightly lower than that of the Endgame Gear XM1r, for instance, is commendable.
Cable
The GEM Plus features a paracord-like, braided cable. Though slightly less flexible than the LIX Plus cable, it is still above average. Its measured length is 1.80 m. The cable has a ferrite bead attached, which reduces signal noise, and a gold-plated USB connector.
Feet
The feet on the GEM Plus are black-dyed PTFE (Teflon) feet. Glide is perfectly fine. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure. A set of replacement mouse feet is included in the box, though it lacks the sensor ring.
