Average Response Time

The average response time is the average time a storage device takes to receive a data request, find the corresponding data, access it, and return the requested results. The average response time depends on various factors, including network bandwidth, the number and type of data requests, the storage device's type and technical characteristics, and the number of users that perform these requests. For the results below, we assume that the NAS is accessed by a user only. Check the "Performance Summary with Multiple Clients" page for multi-client response time results.
