Initial Setup

Once I got these sticks installed into my ASRock X299E-ITX/ac, they really make a nice visual impression. The matte surface of the graphene layer of the cooler really absorbs a lot of light and makes these sticks look really awesome. I wouldn't mind a reflective blue color instead of the metallic red to match my board, but red will do. Yes, red will most definitely do.

When you first boot these sticks up, they enter the OS with a 2400 MHz JEDEC profile. I was hoping to see 2666 MHz as a default, but that 2400 MHz profile offers greater compatibility with all the platforms and chipset in use by laptops and such.
