Introduction
Team Group is a Taiwan-based manufacturer largely rooted in the manufacture of flash memory products. The brand is not as well known here in North America, but has been gaining a lot of ground over the past few years with its gaming-centric "T-Force" product line. T-Force offers a whole roster of gaming memory with a focus on striking designs and high performance. While most of the T-Force brand is focused on the current trend of large, bright RGB LED light bars, the brand has not forgotten the virtues of simplicity and efficiency. Thus, Team Group presents the T-Force Xtreem Gaming DDR4.
The T-Force Xtreem Gaming is Team Group's answer for those in the hardware community who have not hopped on the RGB hype train. The Xtreem Gaming has a refined design and neutral aesthetic to match the majority of hardware combinations without being bland at all. To prove that RGB does not in fact make hardware faster, the T-Force Xtreem Gaming features high performance specs, some might even say Xtreem performance, with kits available in speeds of up to 4500 MHz. I tested the 3866 MHz CL18 variant of this kit previously, and it is currently my test kit for motherboard reviews. Team Group has now provided a pair of 4133 MHz CL18 sticks to try out.
The T-Force Xtreem Gaming DDR4 is the type of kit many in our community have been asking for, and the design is one of my favorites for its simple elegance. Team Group has delivered more than a few great products through their T-Force brand; let's see if the T-Force Xtreem DDR4 Gaming 4133 MHz is as good as its 3866 MHz counterpart.
