A Closer Look

The T-Force Xtreem Gaming features a very simple profile. While the heatsink has many lines and angles, the kit looks unobtrusive in a very intentional way overall.


The T-Force Xtreem Gaming features a brushed aluminium heat spreader with slots cut horizontally to increase the surface area. The heat spreader tapers off at the left and right edges, giving the sticks a trapezoidal profile when viewed from the top.


"T-Force" is centered on both sides of the sticks, just below the cooling slots, and "Xtreem" has been put on the left side. There are two small set screws at the top of the heat spreader to supplement the adhesive holding the spreader on the DIMM.


The specs on the T-Force DDR4 Xtreem Gaming are quite good. 4133 MHz is nothing to sneeze at, especially for this price. The brushed finish is topnotch, and the overall build quality is excellent.


"T-Force" is also printed on top of the sticks so as to be more prominent in a finished build.


The sticks are single-sided, and the machined heat spreader is precisely crafted and more than enough to handle whatever Xtreem voltages you may want to try.


I like to weigh a stick from each kit I get as the difference in mass can be pretty drastic between kits. Mass is not the best indicator of cooling efficiency. While material can matter, of course, heat dissipation is reliant on surface area, not volume or mass. That said, it is still interesting to compare.

The T-Force Xtreem Gaming comes in at a hefty 92.09 g per stick on my scale, which puts them on the high end of things. That heat spreader is not just for show. For height, the T-Force Xtreem Gaming comes in at a little over 47 mm, right in that 45 mm to 50 mm average almost all kits conform to.
