The usable area lessens quite a bit because of raised edges, which is a drawback of the sports bucket seat design. Since the PU upholstery resembles suede leather, it might cause discomfort, though only in hot environments, especially if there is direct skin contact. In a controlled climate, there won't be any sweat-related issues unless you crank up the heat. However, avoid direct skin contact if at all possible because it will cause wear and tear sooner. Finally, whether artificial or not, maintenance is important—be sure to clean the PU upholstery carefully on a regular basis with a cloth and warm water.

This chair's rocking mechanism operates smoothly with even such a lightweight person as myself (60 kg, or 132.27 lb), and the multi-lever controlling it is optimally placed as well. The lowest height of the base is 37 cm (14.56"), which is ideal for small users. While the tallest point of 45 cm (17.71") with the base is adequate for people of around 1.85 m (72.83"), taller user will find it lacking. Cushioning leans towards the softer side, which is another reason its maximum height is a little on the low side. More than three of my coworkers who tried this chair enjoyed its cushioning, but found its height-adjustability range dissapointing.

Sitting on the front of the seat doesn't make the chair flip over as with others, which means the base is well-balanced. This is critical as it could turn into a working hazard otherwise. The upholstery gives off a very discreet shimmer, most likely as a result of the foam underneath. You have to look at the upholstery closely to see it, or use a flashlight.

The plastic bits feel solid, and they cover the bolts and the metal brackets of the backrest entirely. The 3D armrests feel very stable, are well padded, and feel smooth. I would not expect 4D armrests in this price range.

The neck cushion can be placed in two different ways, one of which results in a bit of added height for taller users. That having been said, taller users will probably find the strap opening uncomfortable if the neck cushion is not used because it is made out plastic and may touch their heads. The lumbar-support cushion has a semicircular shape and is voluminous enough. It does not use memory foam, which makes it kind of rigid. Depending on your posture, you are either going to love it or hate it. The lumbar-support cushion will keep your body in an upright position, that's for sure.

The five-star metal base is durable, and its casters feel stable and are quiet as they roll across flat surfaces, such as a wooden floor.
