Finished Looks

Thermaltake's NiC C5 looks fantastic when paired with a red and black motherboard. With the memory also featuring the same color scheme, it really brings everything together nicely, which looks great.

The cooler's small size makes for exceptional clearance around the socket, even with both fans installed.

Again, clearance is a big selling point for the NiC C5, and as shown here, it delivers as no DIMM slots are blocked; however, our motherboard's first expansion slot is blocked.

Like most coolers of late, the Thermaltake NiC C5 blocks the first expansion slot on the test system's MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard. This is due to the plastic fan bracket Thermaltake uses; it sticks out too far. Other than that, the cooler offers unprecedented clearance for memory on Intel's socket LGA2011.
