Shape

By and large, the shape of the Burst II Air matches that of the Burst Pro Air (and, by extension, previous releases of the Burst series). The Burst II Air is slightly longer, but other than that, the changes are mostly of the aesthetic kind. On the Burst II Air, the side buttons are smaller, the scroll wheel has been sized down, the CPI button has been moved from the top to the front of the left side, and the bridge between the main buttons is essentially gone now, too. As before, the main buttons do not feature comfort grooves, to avoid restricting finger positioning. With its wide rear and rear-positioned, slightly tapered hump, the Burst II Air lends itself particularly well to claw grip.


As for grip styles, as stated, I'd say the Burst II Air is primarily suited for claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Burst II Air very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Turtle Beach Burst II Air and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
