UPERFECT's product naming strategy doesn't do much to prepare you for what the UColor O2 actually is: a 16-inch, 3K (2880x1800) resolution portable OLED monitor, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 coverage, and a sleek all-metal body. With its 16:10 panel, the UColor O2 is aimed at anyone looking for an OLED monitor that can be used on the go—primarily with productivity in mind—as that's where you'll benefit most from the extra vertical screen real estate compared to more standard 16:9 monitors.



Like many of UPERFECT's recent offerings, the UColor O2 is built around an off-the-shelf panel used by multiple manufacturers, but wrapped in UPERFECT's branding, firmware, and bundled with their standard array of accessories. These include an integrated foldable magnetic cover that protects the screen when not in use and doubles as a stand, a 30 W USB-C power brick, two USB-C cables, and a Mini-HDMI cable. The idea is to have everything you need right out of the box, and in that regard, the UColor O2 delivers. The Package

This is yet another UPERFECT portable monitor packed in a generic box that doesn't tell you anything about the product inside. The box is made of hard cardboard and feels sturdy, and the folding cover is pre-applied at the factory, so the monitor is well protected and should have no trouble surviving the usual shipping challenges.


Inside the box, you'll find the monitor with the accompanying cover, two USB-C to USB-C cables, a Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, a 30 W USB-C power brick, and a user manual. The cables are only a meter long, so take that into consideration when deciding if you need to purchase a longer set of cables. The inclusion of a power brick is commendable—UPERFECT never skimps on it, unlike some manufacturers that would require you to purchase it as an optional accessory.
