UPERFECT built its name on portable monitors, two of which—UGame K118 and UStation Delta Max—we have already reviewed. This time around we're taking a look at the UMax 24, a 24.5-inch QHD (2560×1440) display that still declares itself as portable. It features a 165 Hz IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage, a maximum specified brightness of 320 cd/m², and a 10 ms response time—not specs you'd typically associate with a monitor that's less than an inch thick and light enough to carry in a backpack.
The UPERFECT UMax 24 features two USB-C and one Mini-HDMI video inputs, making it compatible with everything from gaming handhelds and laptops to desktop PCs and consoles. It includes a built-in kickstand, so it's fully usable out of the box with no extra accessories to lug around. You don't even necessarily need to bring the supplied power adapter, as it can receive power through the same USB-C port used for the video signal. Don't let the size fool you – this monitor is designed to move with you and adapt to a variety of setups. Whether it succeeds in doing that while delivering a solid user experience, well, that's what we're here to find out.
