I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing the Vantec Nexstar Hard Drive Dock. Everything that Vantec says the dock will accomplish is true from the quick and easy installation to the solid and consistent performance. It has a clean and subtle look that can be appreciated. It is lightweight and portable which makes things easier for the person that is always on the go with their data. Being constructed of light plastic it is hard to say how many bumps and mishaps the dock could take though. Despite this it still feels well-built and sturdy.
Those who base their purchasing decisions on looks may be deterred since this offering is only available in white. The function is everything one could ask for and caters to anyone with an available USB, eSATA, or SATA port. The Vantec Nexstar Hard Drive Dock is extremely convenient for backups and transferring files and has become my preferred method to do so. There are plenty of similar products from various manufacturers out there to choose from. However if this particular one from Vantec has the features you are looking for, it will not disappoint your patience or your wallet.
