VAXEE E1 Wireless Review

Shape

The shape of the E1 Wireless is virtually unchanged compared to the Zowie EC2, with the only difference being the rear, which is slightly shorter and more rounded now. Everything else has been kept the same, which is neither unsurprising nor worth criticizing given the ongoing popularity of the EC2 shape. In a sense, the E1 Wireless approaches the Zowie EC3 in terms of length, but keeps its curvature fully intact, whereas the EC3 effectively had been squashed along the longitudinal axis. Compared to the VAXEE Outset AX, the E1 Wireless is not as tall and longer, providing potentially greater range of motion, but reduced stability. Hence, while the E1, EC3, and AX all are variants of the same shape archetype, they set different priorities and handle accordingly differently in practice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the E1 Wireless mostly suits palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the E1 Wireless very comfortable in claw grip.
