The Verbatim Netbook USB Drive is a clever way to market such a unit for a specific purpose. If Verbatim would have released these when the first Eee PCs enter the market, I would have been all over it. But now, with netbooks coming in all shapes and sizes, with both Intel and AMD offerings, such storage is no longer really necessary. Nevertheless, considering what else is on the market today with such a tiny size, the Verbatim shines in terms of price and performance. It is faster and cheaper than the DeLOCK Nano, and pulls even in terms of price with the PNY Attaché. So in the end, the Verbatim Netbook USB Drive is an excellent and easy way to expand the storage of your old netbook, but if you do not own such a device, you may want to sacrifice tiny size for much faster performance. If so, Verbatim clearly has a lot of viable choices as well.
