The Package

The ViewSonic XG240R comes in a nice-looking box. Its front and back point out the monitor's key specs and paint a somewhat unrealistic picture of the built-in RGB effects, at least it terms of brightness and overall usability. More on that in a moment.


On the sides, we get a more in-depth overview of the specifications in several languages.


Aside from the monitor and its stand, the box contains the user manual, a small note that's going to help you set up the provided cable-management system, a plastic loop (used for cable management), and three cables: a DisplayPort cable, power cable, and USB 3.0 upstream cable.
