Using the Wemax Vogue Pro in the broad afternoon sun (and a toasty apartment) is certainly possible thanks to the 1600 ANSI Lumens. There are two different ways to get apps onto the Wemax Vogue Pro as you do not have access to the Google Play Store. There is Get Apps as well as Aptoide TV. Interestingly enough, installing Youtube and Netflix from Aptoide TV leads to the former crashing and the latter blocking the user for using an unsupported device. However, deleting both and installing them from the Get Apps store works just fine. Overall, that app store looks and seems to be functioning better than Aptoide TV anyway.

The Wemax Vogue Pro manages to work very nicely during the day with a balanced brightness to contrast ratio, which could be attributed to the use of 4-channel LEDs as a light & image source. Cartoons as well as Death Stranding don't feel washed out or too dark. The only small drawback is that black areas tend to loose the subtle shades of gray, which is apparent by the missing growth on the cave walls of the Death Stranding screen grab.

Looking at our favorite movie trailer which we have made fun of for the past two years, Top Gun Maverick, everything looks great. You can still see the chair in the background even with the sun-lit room, and that human in front of the carrier lift is also still visible. Editor's note: if you have not yet watched the movie, we give it our Recommended Award.
