Nighttime Performance

In a dark room, the Wemax Vogue Pro can really flex its muscles and ends up being just a tad too bright for the contrast, but just barely. The 4-Channel LED projection is meant to provide higher color accuracy and better black levels over LED-lit DLP, for example. That may absolutely hold true, but the question is if the general end user cares about subtle differences enough to spend the price premium for such a feature in this pricing segment.


This becomes somewhat apparent by the very visible chair in the background of a scene in the Top Gun trailer, as well as the just so slightly overblown sky in the fighter elevator scene. That said, it is by no means bad, and you should easily be able to tweak it to tone things down for more balance.


That same trend continues with Youtube or during gaming. But now, while the sky in Death Stranding is a tad overly bright, you can see the growth on the wall of the cave.
