XPG Vento R 120 ARGB PWM

XPG also provided us with their Vento R 120 ARGB PWM fans. As the name clearly states, these are 120 mm units, with built-in ARGB lighting. The "R" stands for reverse fan layout, so that you can install these into the side of the XPG Invader X and have the clean side facing the interior of the chassis while still acting as a set of air intake units.

The fans are all white from the sticker, to the wiring and obviously the frame as well. As they use hub-mounted ARGB elements, the blades are translucent to carry the glow evenly to across the surface of the blades. XPG includes all kinds of screws, so you can easily mount them on radiators or example. On top of that, there are extension cables as well, as the wiring on the fans is kept deliberately short. While the intention is to replace cable clutter, it is also required, as the ARGB interface used on the fans is proprietary. Luckily, these wires convert it to the universal connector variant.

As these are reverse airflow fans, the blade direction on these has been flipped so the XPG logo is going to face the inside of the case, with the support spokes hidden away from view. In general, these cooling units look pretty straight forward.

The corners are padded with rubber to act as an anti-vibration measure when installed. As previously mentioned, the wiring on these units is pretty short, so they are intended to be used as a group instead of spread around the case. Both the PWM and the proprietary ARGB cables are meant to be daisy-chained as well. In terms of design, the Vento R 120 ARGB PWM units are pretty generic. In other words, if you were to remove the XPG sticker, and asked people to guess who made these, it won't be immediately apparent.
