Packaging

Zalman ships the cooler in a compact, full color package with a small, leaf shaped window up front and a circular one in the rear. Both sides hold further information and pictures of the unit. Zalman further protects the CNPS 9900 NT with a plastic clamshell. This is a requirement due to the unique shape of the unit.

Zalman ships the cooler with different mounting brackets for the individual Intel or AMD sockets. You will also receive a manual along with a bag of small parts needed to secure the 9900 NT onto the board of your choice. In addition to the required parts, Zalman has included an adapter to reduce the overall speed of the cooling fan. This is achieved by placing a resistor on the cable supplying the fan with power, thus lowering the voltage which the fan draws.
