Finished Looks

As the name suggests, the Zalman Reserator5 Z36 Black is an all-black design. Only the diffusion elements for the ARGB lighting add any contrast. If you're not a fan of ARGB lighting and want a more stealthy-looking AIO, the Reserator5 Z36 may be a good option. Meanwhile, those wanting over-the-top illumination may find the design less appealing. Either way, the design itself offers a clean look with easy-to-hide cables, which is a boon to just about anyone because no one likes managing a wiring nest around the CPU socket or moving cables around when getting the side panel back on.

There were no issues on either platform regarding memory and graphics card clearance. Granted, this is normal for most all-in-one liquid coolers, but there are still outliers in the market.

Regarding the ARGB lighting, it is not super fancy by any means; with the LEDs in the center of the pump, the lighting spreads outward but doesn't extend down the sides, which I expected, though it still left a sense of a missed opportunity. Also, due to the LEDs concentration in the center of the pump, the individual LEDs become very apparent when set to most shades of red. That said, blues and greens look great.
