Battery charging

Inside the package are a battery charger, micro USB cable, and three rechargeable and replaceable 18650 Lion batteries with a capacity of 2000 mAh each.


The batteries will most likely last for 500 to 1000 charging circles, which is approximately 2-3 years. ZHIYUN states that the Crane 2 has a maximum runtime of 18 hours when fully charged due to the batteries' total capacity of 6000 mAh. While using the Crane, you can also charge the mounted camera through the control cable. However, not all cameras support this feature. At this point, we should stress the correct way of powering off the Crane 2 while charging the camera - the proper way of doing so according to Zhiyun is to power off the camera first and unplug the connector cable from the gimbal last.

Optional Accesories

An extended handle that bears two side grips is offered as an extra accessory for $99.00. With the two-handle extension, a user will be able to achieve more shooting angles. A remote controller that connects with the stabilizer via Bluetooth is also available for $20.
