There is a lot on my mind I could write about here. However, the score given here should say it all: the ASRock X370 Taichi is in my eyes... perfect. Maybe I could nit-pick a few items here, but it would only be that; nitpicking. There is more functionality here than most would need, and when you consider the target audience for this product from ASRock, you can see that they have very cleanly hit the nail directly on the head.
There are some inherent issues here that are due to AMD's Summit Ridge platform; memory compatibility and high cooling needs, but these are issues any board will have right now. However, there are some issues other boards have that this one does not. If you want to get the most out of a Ryzen CPU, and do so without much trouble, ASRock's X370 Taichi will definitely give you a Zen-like experience, pun most definitely intended.
From the minimal onboard LEDs, Intel controllers for both LAN and WiFi, USB 3.1 Type-C and Type-A, dual M.2 ports, a huge compliment of SATA ports and fan headers, decent audio, highly capable power design, and the included HB Bridge for GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 SLI users, the ASRock X370 Taichi is the first product I have ever given a perfect score, and if you get one, I am sure you will quickly understand why I like this board so much. Need I mention it has it all and only costs $200? I've been commenting on the forums here about this particular board often, and it is obviously because I am very excited by the ASRock X370 Taichi. You should be too.
