Well, that was fast. Guess some nice surprises had to happen to balance a bit all the scalping and out-of-stock products that's been going on for a while-

I might be wrong, but the current latest bios on my Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI might also already support Zen 3 since late last month if I read the AGESA version correctly:

According to some quick internet searching it seems the AMD AGESA ComboAM4v2PI 1.1.0.0 should support the 5000 series, but don't have a CPU to test it. Anyone else experience with this AGESA version?

Gigabyte BIOS is titled at F60c whereas ASUS's BIOS is listed as 8501.

Apparently v2 supports it, v1 doesn't.

Why not x470? Isn’t that a more premium, more important motherboards?

Premium? Sure. More important. Nope.
B450 is way more popular, so it makes sense to push updates first.

I updated to BIOS version P.3.60 to add Zen3 support to the ASRock B450M Steel Legend system that I gave to my mother. Unfortunately, the Zen3 CPUs all evaporated before I could get one, but at least the system will be ready to accept a newer CPU if someone ever does upgrade it.

What's your old cpu, Ryzen 2000 or 3000? I'd like to know if P3.60 drop support for some cpu (and, if so, what cpu will drop)...

My system works perfecty with the R5 2600x, but I'm also interested for Zen 3 support: i'm afraid that they drop some cpu support (may be 2000 series) but i can't find infos about wich one...
