PSA: Corrosion Happening on ASUS ROG Z690 Formula VRM Block, Company Remains Silent

"The board's unique selling point is that it comes with an optional CrossChill EK III hybrid VRM thermal solution, which is effectively a waterblock for your VRMs to keep them cool at all times."
I guess it's prime time someone takes EK to court over this. I wouldn't be too surprised it is was ASUS as well due to the slander they're putting out in their press releases.

I don't see why EK would be responsible for ASUS ordering/using Aluminium WB for their motherboards. They probably cut corners and ordered cheaper material.

Now if EK supplied Aluminium instead of Copper on their own, that's another thing. But for now, I didn't read anything in that directon.

Besides the ek logo on the vrm block I haven't seen anything that states they/ ek made or nickel plated these blocks either.
