NVIDIA Promo Material Emerges for Upcoming Offer of GeForce RTX 40 Series and Redfall Bundle

NVIDIA looks to be bundling Redfall with its RTX 40-series GPUs in the near future. It seems that UK hardware retailer Punch Technology was premature with its uploading of promotional material regarding the upcoming offer, and VideoCardz was quick to report on this leak. An exact start date for the promotion was not revealed, but the qualifying graphic card model products include desktop versions of RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070 Ti. Laptops equipped with mobile RTX 4090 or RTX 4080 GPUs will also qualify for the Redfall promotion.

The limited time promotion will offer up a bundled copy of the Arkane Austin-developed Redfall Bite Back Edition, which represents the most expensive ($99.99 or £83.99) and content complete launch version of the Bethesda-published title. Redfall is due to be released on May 2 of this year, for PC and Xbox Series S|X with online cross-play enabled between platforms
Biteback Edition includes plenty of extra doodads according to Bethesda's supplied information: "Upgrade to the Bite Back Edition and receive the Redfall Hero Pass, the Throwback Outfit Pack, Laser Beam multi-weapon skin, and the Tactical Knife Stake weapon attachment for close-range fights. The Redfall Hero Pass gives you access to two future heroes with unique powers and gameplay. The Throwback Outfit Pack includes a unique outfit and backpack for each of the four base heroes inspired by their lives before Redfall."

Details from the promotion page demonstrate that Redfall will include support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, DLSS 2, Ray Tracing, and Reflex. It is not immediately clear which effects will receive the ray trace treatment. Deathloop for example, Arkane's previous game, only featured support for ray traced sun shadows and ambient occlusion.

Redfall is an open-world, co-op FPS from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored 1 & 2. Continuing Arkane's legacy of carefully crafted worlds and immersive sims, Redfall brings the studio's signature gameplay to this story-driven action shooter.

Redfall is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2, 2023. It will also be available with Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud. Pre-order Redfall or play the game with Xbox Game Pass to receive the Vampire Hunter Pack.

The cringe I get immediately when I look at those characters cannot be described. Like some weird sort of uncanny valley feeling. It looks absolutely ridiculous much like the graphics.

Pretty much echoed my thoughts as I took a glance at this. No thanks.

I haven't really cared for the art style in any Arkane studio game. It does seem like what they put out people like in general though.

AMD nailed the free games this round, Last of Us Part 1 and Star Wars Jedi Survivor, both games I really want! Wish they had offered that stuff sooner, it would have been just the kick in the pants I needed to go next gen no matter what. Oh well.

Nvidia use to be better about this but I guess the incentive to get people to buy your cards when they likely already will just isn't there. AMD has done an excellent job though but that is also likely dictated by where they are in the market compared to Nvidia.

CrAsHnBuRnXpLooks like a L4D wannabe.
Its more like a looter shooter type of a game, think of like Borderlands and such but mixed with other styles like Far Cry + optional co-op play.
It will have an actual story campaign and you do pick a character at the start of your playthrough and you cannot change it unless you start over.
For that very reason I will for sure try it out since it will be on gamepass on day 1. 'I have a gifted pass now so nothing to lose'

Character design eh I'm not a big fan of either but considering that I will be playing this solo its whatever. 'gimme cool looking guns instead '

Well, that's not a bundle that would sell me on a new card if I wasn't already getting one. Which I'm not.

AMD wins this round with The Last of Us Part 1. I figured Nvidia would at least pony up for Returnal.

Still, a good value bundle is a good value bundle. It's not up to Nvidia to guestimate what happens after someone get a bundle.

Yeah, that's part of it, and also, the same, eternal forced fashion statements. It just oozes zero talent and originality. I guess this is what AI will do to gaming - they all look different, yet the same. Creative tunnel vision has officially happened without it though. And part of it is politically inspired, too, that's the worst of it. Artists can't just make something. It has to check a few boxes and it shows. Ugh.

You won't have see them for very long. In about one year it will join the ever-growing pile of dead live services.
