Razer Announces Atlas Tempered Glass Mouse Mat

The Razer Atlas is an innovative gaming mouse mat that marks the company's first-foray into a glass-based design. As Razer's first tempered glass gaming mouse mat, it is engineered to elevate gaming experiences and caters to the needs of gamers who demand quick flicks and consistent swipes. This allows gamers to enjoy a feeling of seemingly zero resistance in their gaming sessions.

For gamers and e-sports athletes, speed and accuracy are essential. Since most gaming mice use optical sensors, the Razer Atlas has been optimized with micro-etched textures on the mat's ultra-smooth surface. This provides optimal conditions for optical sensors to detect textures accurately for a precise gaming experience.
Meticulously crafted with premium tempered glass, the Razer Atlas is built to last, ensuring durability and longevity. The scratch-resistant surface repels dirt and dust, ensuring it stays clean through even the most intense gaming sessions. Thanks to its low-maintenance nature, the mat can be easily cleaned with a warm damp cloth to ensure it stays in a pristine state at all times. The Razer Atlas is also available in two color options, Black and White, allowing gamers to choose the color that best suits their setup for a premium, clean aesthetic.
Designed to help gamers stay in the zone by offering quieter swipes, the Razer Atlas boasts a fully covered anti-slip rubber base. This ensures that the mat stays firmly in place, even during intense gaming sessions, eliminating any slips or movements that could disrupt gameplay. With the Razer Atlas, gamers can expect unparalleled performance and gameplay, as every move and action is accurately captured and reflected on-screen, with zero surface resistance.

When I had plastic ones, the mouse feet got destroyed pretty fast, so with this ones I bet your mouse feed won't last much.

It seems like they took a fridge shelf and engraved their logo on it.

Oh wow, never thought I would see glass mouse mats again. I had a few icemats back in the early 00's, remember those? They were difficult to maintain but I really liked them. Kinda regret now I didnt keep them around.

I imagine if you're buying this you're also buying the mega-expensive Mg-Alloy razer mouse with glass feet.

Yeah, I'm definitely buying this, I missed glass mats so much. Steelseries had them, iirc. There are some available from smaller manufacturers but none in my region, while razer stuff is usually always on the shelves.

Actually using glass mouse feet and glass mousepad is the worst you can do. Glass on Glass is not great experience

Next headline from Razzoro will read:

"Announcing our brand new, innovative, touch surface all-glass computing desk, which eliminates the need not only for a mouse pad, but the mouse itself" All for only $2.37K with free shipping !

Ooops, scratch that, 'cause I forgot that the word "innovate" is not found anywhere in their vocabulary, hehehe :D

Bit cold in winter. Next up, $120 for under glass-mouse-mat warming pad, and for $199, RGB LED inlay.

Anyway, the best mouse mat I have is an A2 cutting mat.

chris.london$100. No, thanks.
This is fortunately (or unfortunately?) normal pricing for any glass mousepads of the XL (400mm x 400mm) size. SkyPad XLs go for $100 to $120.

Not recommended to use glass feet with any glass mousepad. One sticks with the standard PTFE feet for a smoother glide.

Yep, or you can use a Trackball so you won't destroy your pointing device feet :)

ChaitanyaThats the normal pricing for Tempered glass mousepads. Here is Skypad a manufacturer of TG mouse pads and take a look at their pricing:

That is also extremely expensive for what it is.

Yes, even 100 is too expensive for a mouse, this is only for a mousepad.
