You mean the DLC? The main game is already on PC.

This includes the Frozen Wilds expansion. I would love to see the Forbidden West expansion on PC as well!

Forbidden West (FW) isn't an expansion - it's a standalone game and the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. FW is exclusive to PlayStation players right now, with the expansions for FW being exclusive to the PlayStation 5. Here's hoping that FW comes to PC soon though, hopefully within the next year or two.

I may have misunderstood that. Thought it was an expansion.

@Sony/Guerrilla
Seriously?!? EVERYONE is tired of this exclusives crap. It's not going to motivate us to buy a PS5. It just going to disappoint and piss us off! Get a damn clue people! EDIT: And before anyone says it, no I don't play on Xbox either. FPS type games are a crap experience on a controller. Keyboard and Mouse ONLY! Which means PC mofo's!

the word is it'll be about 12 months after initial PS5 release. Cannot wait either, a significant upgrade over HZD and much harder, especially human combat.

Day one pre-order for me.

Zero Dawn was one of the best games I've ever played, despite feeling an important portion of character development was missing, specifically I've missed a design element that Bethesda loves to add to their games - and imo why they are so successful - which was giving Aloy the option to forge friendships, relationships and join factions according to the player's will, but instead there were very few instances where she was given any meaningful choice.

They tried to keep the game PG too much, turns out the terraformed apocalypse is a pristine place and there was no possible way for Aloy to use her looks and charm to get her way with influencing people... :rolleyes:

Thankfully the fan artists and writers on Twitter cover up much of that denied fan service.

It wasn't that good, but I definitely enjoyed my playthrough so I'm looking forward to Forbidden West when it arrives on PC.
I'm curious what the death of Lance Reddick will do for Silus' character. AFAIK there's another game coming after Forbidden West and Silus' plot arc isn't complete yet.

That would have been cool, even more so in Forbidden West (sorry to dissapoint..) where the world is much bigger and there's a bit more variety regarding the groups you meet. But I can also see how that could have felt a bit out of place given the type of game Horizon is, the threat in the main plot is so overwhelming it doesn't make sense for them to pick sides, they need everyone they can get.

I think the story of Forbidden West, or better yet, the way the game interconnects everything was not particularly well made, Zero Dawn was much better in that regard even if it becomes much more linear, but you'll get to see a bunch of growing in Alloy's part. Some of it is a bit lazily written character flaws but I still found it enjoyable.
