A lot of monitors have stands seperate from their VESA mount, and these NUC-like PCs can be VESA-mounted to the display.
I used to work IT for a loan company, they apparently had tried out NUCs for projectors and large-format displays. -for meetings, presentations, etc.
Sadly, the mish-mash of competency and workload in/on the IT staff led to most of the NUCs never seeing any maintenance. When I left the company, there were easily half a dozen 'retired' NUCs across 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen Intel Core i-series, just 'sitting around'.
