Assassin's Creed Nexus VR Launches on November 16

Assassin's Creed Nexus VR will launch for Meta Quest devices - including Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest Pro - on November 16, enabling players to leap into a first-person virtual-reality adventure for the first time in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Embodying Assassin's Creed heroes Ezio Auditore, Connor, and Kassandra, players will parkour, climb freely across open maps, and use real-world motions to fight their way through a full-fledged Assassin's Creed adventure set across three different eras.

As an undercover hacker in the modern day, players will work from inside Abstergo to foil a plot to change people's beliefs using ancient technology. Working under Abstergo's cybersecurity chief, Dominika Wilk (played by award-winning actress Morena Baccarin), players will explore newly discovered memories from Renaissance Italy, the American Revolution, and Ancient Greece.
Each character has a different set of weapons, helping give each era a distinct gameplay feel; Kassandra and Connor carry bows, for example, while Ezio uses a one-handed crossbow to eliminate foes from a distance. And while Ezio and Kassandra both carry swords, Connor's tomahawk does double-duty in close-up fights and as a powerful thrown weapon. Players can also take advantage of throwing knives, bombs, and - of course - Hidden Blades as they sneak, stab, and battle their way through guards and other enemies.

All three heroes will have the acrobatic skills of a master assassin, which players can employ in freely explorable maps filled with opportunities to climb, sneak, blend into crowds, and execute the dramatic Leap of Faith. As they explore, they'll also meet civilians and historical figures, who will react to player actions in VR. Players can tackle the game with smooth exploration and free movement, or by teleporting around the map (with warnings to let players in stealth know if a move will trigger an enemy's attention).

Developed by Ubisoft Red Storm, Ubisoft Düsseldorf, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Mumbai, Ubisoft Pune, Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Belgrade, and Ubisoft Berlin, Assassin's Creed Nexus will be available exclusively for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest Pro on November 16. For more details on the game, check out our interview with Creative Director David Votypka, and keep an eye on Ubisoft News for future updates.

No PCVR support? Man, the vr industry is headed down the drain if quest exclusivity is kept up, this makes me incredibly sad.

A Quest 2 or beyond wont ever give you the experience that a pc can give you, not now anyway, all we get are gimped games so they can run on the garbage brick.

It's a shame that it's a quest exclusive. Can game studio remember VR roots and where is the best VR experience you can get ? Ok there's some impressive VR center but that's another target :D

It's just a matter of time until someone extracts Morena's 3d model from it and makes some VR porn. :pimp:

No PCVR really? So like nobody has VR.. They act like they want more people to get it.. But they lock out half of the already low user base with this exclusivity BS?
I'm done buying VR..
Virtually everything is cross platform now a days and these dipchits are working backwards..
