You should try living in Canada. Add another 35% for conversion rate and 13% for tax.

The gog version came like 3 months after the steam release. Guessing this will be the same otherwise maybe it didn't sell well enough on gog.....

Yes like a sucker I bought it on Steam and later on GOG because I want the DRM-free version. I'll wait for GOG this time. It's already been 2 years, what's another 3 months?

That's not true. Steam has a larger audience than GOG, but to say it didn't sell very well would be a mistake. It's one of GOG's more popular titles.

Yeah, it's very irritating.

Right?

I rarely buy anything on Steam anymore. If it doesn't come to GOG, I just don't play it, generally.

I fully expect it to be released on gog. I just threw that out as the only reason I could see it not coming to GOG. It could also be that they want to sell the drm versions for an x amount of months before releasing a non drm version which to me sounds mor3 realistic.

kerberos_20GOG isnt drm free anymore, policy changed last year
www.gog.com/news/bgog_2022_update_2b_our_commitment_to_drmfree_gaming

DRM free policy doesnt mean that there is no DRM (but it used to be)
they also have 3rd point as gog client being optional...well CP2077 last update crashing on linux when GOG client is missing...so id say that statement isnt true aswell
Did you actually READ that page?
We believe you should have freedom of choice and the right to decide how you use, enjoy, and keep the games you bought. It manifests in three points:
  • 1. The single-player mode has to be accessible offline.
  • 2. Games you bought and downloaded can never be taken from you or altered against your will.
  • 3. The GOG GALAXY client is and will remain optional for accessing single-player offline mode.
Thus.

Thinking they meant liberated from Sony's grip of exclusivity. They didn't mean "free" as in no monetary cost.

EU prices cannot be shown without tax, thats herecy (and illegal)
and if you compare any other PS5 store games, you wouild see that 10more eurs on games is quite common there, even if conversion between dollar and euro is pretty much about same
