Diablo IV's Future to be Discussed at BlizzCon '23 Campfire Chat

Sanctuary beckons you forth, wanderer. On November 4, at 2:30 pm PDT, a glimpse into the future of Diablo IV will be revealed live to all at BlizzCon. Join associate game director Brent Gibson, production director Tiffany Wat, lead game producer Kalyeigh Calder, game director Joe Shely, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher, who will introduce content releasing during Season of Blood and beyond.

On the first day of BlizzCon, Q&A questions for the Campfire Chat will be gathered in-person from a box in the Diablo hall, along with any from social media. Then, we'll have a Q&A segment at the end of the stream where the team will answer questions collected from the community.
Visit our official Diablo Twitch and YouTube channels to watch live; all will be able to watch the events from near or far. Following the Campfire Chat's conclusion, we'll post another article with a video of the chat so you can still catch up on the details if you miss them.

another dumpsterfire chat? what do they even want to talk about anymore...
we still have no endgame but at least there are over 1000 dollar worth of skins in the shop! and don't forget to buy invincible before we remove it next week because you clowns always fall for the fomo.

My guesses:
  • All hard questions are deferred because they have no answers.
  • Most of the talk will be about the next DLC and Battle Pass, alongside more skins.
  • The rest of the talk will be about how well they've done and be a self-serving pat on the back, and they want the playerbase to only acknowledge that.
  • They will lead on the remaining faithful with a "trust me bro, the 10th season from now will definitely be more exciting!" levels of BS.

Shouldn't it be called MicroCon or something now?

I'm partial to SoftCon. Because they'll probably be softly conning everyone with crappy DLC and subscriptions to everything.

First of all, these are not discussions but monologues. Performed for one purpose only - to praise their smoking pile of crap. So, light up your blazing Dungfire Blizz and vape own BS!

What D4 future?? They should burry this pile of garbage and start working at Diablo V. But they need to follow at least the gameplay model of what Diablo II was.

FTFY. You're seriously asking the company that built Diablo IV, to build Diablo V and do better?

Input = output. Why would the same approach net different results? D4 is a worse D3 and D3 is a worse D2. Let's not repeat this again.

I hear Grim Dawn is getting another expansion. /thread

Let's face it, the endgame starts right after you complete your skill tree. You start slavering away at an inconsequential Paragon tree to chase an incredible amount of baby stat boosts to climb an incredibly tedious scaling ladder. This game is broken by design. All it has is 'number go up'. Just uninstall it and move on...

I could never play this game due to the extreme zoomed in camera view. Mindboggling that people accept it this way.

Yeah I miss my Diablo 2 hacked to run on 1440p, where the dude looked like a peon from W3, and could see the whole map too.

The camera view is an exponent of the game's scope: limited.
Its keen to hide a lot from you such as spawning enemies and terrain pop in ;)
