Bought "Chernobylite" because of it's built-in benchmark. This is part of my collection of owning if possible all games that have "Vulkan API" & games that have "built-in benchmark stats".

Indie-ish game. I think the graphics are more of a choice than a lack of effort.

Lot of my friends are, I never watch Let's Plays, but this game has me watching them sometimes, absolutely wild game and concept being Live Scenario and things leaving permanently. It looks super fun, saw a guy dodge bullet fire, jump on a tank, plant a bomb, run away, and boom... but it was done so well, and unique graphics/realism style, it looks amazing lol

I think the companies biggest mistake was not having a offline single player bots story mode, so every time a new Live section gets retired, you can replay it with bots offline, also allows for new players to catch up, hence more sales, vs people who say, well I already missed like 4 planets, so might as well not bother.

The thing that holds me back from buying helldivers 2 is the anti cheat that it uses. Why choose the worst possible option?

On topic now: Metro Awakening. Huge fan of the metro games, and since playing exodus I've been dreaming about a metro game for VR. I hope this manages to be that, but honestly? The devs not using the 4AEngine is a bit worrying (though it makes sense, as only 4AGames would know how to properly use it, but I digress). I also don't know how good the studio's recent outputs have been, but I'll remain hopeful.

ya if Helldivers 2 had an offline bots single player mode, I'd buy it instantly. looks really fun combat wise. I can never get friends times to line up right for co-op games. so meh

Yep same here.. nowadays (with age) other priorities get in the way; family, work, the shame of long-hour gaming lol, etc. Back in the day we had a solid 3-man squad with a 4th we hooked up with online over some heavy battlefield battle sessions. I miss those days... getting the lads back together now takes planning for the odd session once in a while. I can't be bothered anymore with coordinating these sessions... hence don't mind going in solo and hooking up with random people. The thing i miss the most... i can't VC all the time, not with a riled up wifey and harassing kids around and definitely not when i'm pretending i'm working lol (yep the occasional MUTED gaming at play - immersion FAIL but still fun..)

Helldivers looks like FUN... solo/not i'm IN.

Actually you don't even need to use the chat feature in Helldivers. The Action is so kinetic that you will know where to go and what to do. The Game also puts you into the same mission as every player that picked it to a maximum of 4. You can get people that are Level 7 playing with people that are at 30 and beyond. They drop loot just like you that anybody can use. I got in the Mech that I don't have access too and started eradicating bugs. I finally ran out of Ammo and had to abandon it but boy was it fun. Helldivers2 is unabashed arcade. Even today as long as you see that Japanese sign at the start you should know how good the experience can be.

The best though is you can do 1 mission and be sated after about 15 minutes of Game time. Or spend a couple hours a session levelling up your character. So time is not a big issue we live in a world where people play Games on PC at all times somewhere on this planet. With something as popular as Helldivers2. Even people who played mostly Dota2 from my Steam friends are playing Helldivers2 you will always get at least 3 people in your party.

There is even an Xcom hook (I have been killing Xcom and now Xcom2 lately) when you have to make it to the extraction point to before time runs out.

Yeah this is stopping me too. It looks fun but I cba to invest big in another online only game thatll be forgotten in 1-2 years. Even without friend considerations.. I dont mind matching with randoms either.

Also just got my hands on RoboCop: Rogue City. Robocop was one of my childhood favoridt movies besides Terminator.

There is even an Xcom hook (I have been killing Xcom and now Xcom2 lately) when you have to make it to the extraction point to before time runs out.

i'm a VC-chat-box for strategies and coordination kinda guy but i admit you're spot on with this type of arcade-level fast paced and easily adapted fight sequences we can do without it. The good thing is, 90% of the time you find people with voice chat in this game - a blessing in disguise for some added immersiveness.

15 mins of game time is usually great! Sometimes a hit and miss with the PROs doing all the hard work but i'm learning to catch up.

CP2077 is genuinely good now, having finished a second playthrough to cover the Phantom Liberty DLC it's shocking how much better the game is compared to the 1.x versions. If you don't have the DLC I would recommend picking it up now, rather than doing what I did and playing through the game a second time for the DLC; It will only serve to enhance your first playthrough and although the base game is in a great state now, I wish my first encounter with CP2077 could have been the 2.1 version with the DLC.

Its my opinion also that the game is in much better shape now. Hence why i am getting the game now.

Thanks for the heads up about dlc. Will look in to it.
