The ROG Ally Extreme GPU is an enthusiast-class gaming console graphics solution by AMD, launched on June 13th, 2023. Built on the 4 nm process, and based on the Phoenix graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. The Phoenix graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 178 mm² and 25,390 million transistors. It features 768 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. The card also has 12 raytracing acceleration cores. AMD includes 16 GB LPDDR5 memory, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1500 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2700 MHz, memory is running at 1600 MHz.
