Earlier today MSI announced its "The Limited Series," introduced as "a collection of exclusive, special version of selected items" from their product lineup. It is not immediately clear whether the first drop has been revealed prematurely—several media outlets have reported on the manufacturer's GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming X NV Edition graphics card being limited to a run of 6000 units (with select retail partners), while MSI's dedicated website for their new promotion campaign has not been updated (at the time of writing).

This limited edition "NVIDIA Edition" (NV) card appears to be a slightly dolled-up variation of the existing MSI RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X model—albeit with Team Green coloration and (possibly) white LED lighting zones. This limited run's aesthetic is said to: "deliver the same high-performance MSI brings for more than 35 years with a one-of-a-kind outlook and exclusive features to give a chance to GAMERS to add something very unique to their PC Builds." No global pricing details were included in accompanying marketing blurb.

Time to get the gang back together - PAYDAY 3 streams on GeForce NOW this week. It's one of 11 titles joining the cloud this week, including Party Animals. PAYDAY 3 is the highly anticipated sequel to one of the world's most popular co-op shooters. Step out of retirement and back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang - who bring the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law enforcement wherever they go. Set several years after the end of the crew's reign of terror over Washington, D.C., the game reassembles the group to deal with the threat that's roused them out of early retirement.

Looking ahead, Ad Infinitum and Mortal Kombat 1 are launching with DLSS 2.

ICARUS DLSS 3 Update Available Now
In ICARUS, the co-op survival game by Dean Hall and RocketWerkz, players explore a savage alien wilderness in the aftermath of terraforming gone wrong. Survive long enough to mine exotic matter before returning to orbit, then explore and conquer new biomes of greater risk and greater reward. You must meet your deadline for extraction though, or face being left behind forever. Alternatively, play in the persistent Open World mode to build a planet-side encampment that'll give you a base from which to explore the game's massive maps, and beat ICARUS' challenging bosses.

In addition to the full line of slimmer GAMING SLIM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards, MSI has sneaked a couple of other models to its GeForce RTX 40 series lineup, including the MSI RTX 4070 Ventus 2X White and the RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 2X White. Featuring an all-white design, the VENTUS 2X WHITE features a dual-fan cooler with a white backplate.

The MSI RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 2X White works at 2,610 MHz Boost clock, which can be further tuned up to 2,625 via MSI Center, while the MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X works at 2,475 MHz Boost clock which can be further pushed up to 2,490 MHz via MSI Center. The rest of the specifications and the design, other than an all-white color scheme, should be the same as on the standard black versions of these graphics cards. Both feature TORX FAN 4.0 with Zero Frozr, copper baseplate with Core Pipes heatpipe design, and reinforced backplate.

An unreleased NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER Founders Edition graphics card was last spotted just over a year ago. A fortunate member of the Chinese NGA discussion board provided a close-up shot of a shroud bearing "super." A new leak gives us a full view of the RTX 3090 SUPER FE with prominent branding—KittyYYuko declared: "WTF, I have indeed heard of this leak before" upon posting this discovery to social media.

According to ITHome, the example from last year appeared to be a publicly released variant of "an unpackaged GeForce RTX 3090 Ti," and the latest finding seems to be identical. A seller, tbNick_dn86z, has created an entry for his GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER Founders Edition card with a value of 9999 RMB (~$1370) on Xianyu (Taobao's second hand market)—it is advertised as being "original and not modified, with a pure black casing." When confronted about identifying any apparent differences between the SUPER and officially launched Ti version, tbNick_dn86z confirmed that they are largely the same (minus external branding)—a matching device ID is shared across both variants.

PB Tech New Zealand has lowered the price of a Galax GeForce RTX 4070 1 CLICK OC X2 12 GB graphics card to stay competitive with the initial batch of freshly released AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT cards. This particular custom NVIDIA model is not quite as fancy as its triple fan sibling that sits in TPU's database, but the promotional price of NZ$999 (~$588 USD) could be enough to tempt customers away from Team Red's new mid-range offerings—starting with Sapphire's reference model at NZ$998.99. For NZ$1018.99 (~$600 USD) you reach the first tier of custom design RX 7800 XT models—ASRock's AMD Challenger 16 GB OC, PowerColor's Hellhound edition and a Sapphire Pulse Gaming 16 GB card.

VideoCardz notes that e-tailers outside of New Zealand have not been observed lowering prices of GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards, although a smattering of shops in North America have adjusted their charges for GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB in reaction to the arrival of competing AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT models. We hope to see that market trend apply to the GeForce RTX 4070 series as well—a sole case isolated to the southwestern Pacific territory (where launch prices tend to be greater than elsewhere) is not enough.

Chinese board partner Maxsun introduced its flagship—Mega Gamer GPU (MGG)—GeForce RTX 40-series lineup earlier this year, debuting with an RTX 4070 Ti card, and then an RTX 4080 MGG OC 16G model. The rather unique looking cooling solution attracted some attention at the time—a traditional set of three 100 mm fans was augmented with two additional 40 mm "Air Burst" units in a flanking position, acting as exhausts as for the finstack. Earlier today Maxsun revealed the range topping RTX 4090 MGG OC 24G model via a video uploaded to their Weibo channel.

The new headliner looks to be fitted with the same shroud design as seen on the already released RTX 4080 MGG OC 16G model, which includes a somewhat gimmicky magnetically detachable large top-facing RGB LED panel, dubbed "MGG LED Ambient Kit." Thankfully Maxsun has put the work into creating a robust cooling solution, with a vapor chamber capable of meting out 7000 mm² of heat dissipation.
