Gamesense has announced that its new glass mouse pad is available to purchase: "The Sonar is in-stock and ready to ship! Comes in all black or the limited edition Minhwa of Pearl. Razer has introduced an updated version of their Firefly RGB mouse pad. First introduced in May 2015, the original Firefly carried 15 RGB lighting zones that could be customized via Razer's Chroma software. There are still 16.8 million colors available for user customization, but the number of lighting zones has been increased from 15 (in the May 2015 model) to 19 (in the November 2019 model). Coincidence? I think not.

The new Firefly V2 now also features brighter LEDs for a more dashing experience, and has been made thinner as well, coming in at just 3 mm (1 mm has been shaved compared to the original model). Tesoro looked to keep things stately at this years Computex, going with more refined designs that feature a cleaner aesthetic for office and business use. The first item to make s splash was the Alphaeon W1 which is a set of glasses that protect one's eyes with blue light reduction lenses which are TÜV Rheinland certified. Made for use both indoor and outdoor with both computers and mobile devices, but if that's all they were capable of they wouldn't be newsworthy. Meaning they took things a step further with the company equipping these glasses with Bluetooth 4.0 with a connection distance of up to 15m. Add in Bone Conduction technology and users can not only enjoy music or answer phone calls but also hear surrounding sounds. Compatibility is quite broad as the glasses are capable of pairing with any Bluetooth devices and are Active Voice Control ready. They are also lightweight at just 45g and have a rated phonecall/music playback time of up to 8 hours.

While visiting Patriot, we also took a moment to examine their latest PC gaming peripherals which included the absurd yet genuinely excellent RGB rollout mouse pad. Available in two sizes (350 x 260 x 3 mm and 900 x 420 x 3 mm) it is made of a polyester and natural rubber with a PCBA and optical fiber material for those sweet RGB LED effects. Speaking of the RGB effects, it offers two zones via software allowing for customization of color and brightness along with flash and breathing modes. Using a button switch will manually allow for seven color options and auto breathing. Overall it was a unique offering that grabbed our attention. Regardless of if you love or hate the RGB fad on some products here it just feels fitting oddly enough.

GIGABYTE today rolled out the Aorus branded P7 RGB gaming mousepad. Like most firm elevated mousepads that have RGB lighting, the P7 RGB features silicone RGB LED diffusers lining the perimeter. There's also an RGB LED illuminated Aorus logo up top. The mousepad connects to your PC over USB, with a micro-USB connector at the pad, and a conventional type-A connector on the other end of a 2-meter long cable. GIGABYTE RGB Fusion software controls lighting. As a mousepad itself, the Aorus P7 RGB features a 350 mm x 240 mm (WxD) surface, with a slight elevation of 4.6 mm. The surface is a hard micro-texture polymer, with low friction, optimized for both laser and optical sensors. At 420 g, it isn't light, though. The company didn't reveal pricing.

AZIO Corp underwent a massive makeover in their product line the last few years, focusing on their typewriter-style mechanical keyboards and then doubling down on it to give their products a different look than most others. Their Retro Classic line from last year introduced vegetable-tanned genuine leather to the keyboards, and then there was a special edition that made use of genuine wood trim as well. At Computex this year, AZIO showed more of the same being applied to other products, as well as hinting towards the use of more such unique materials in the future.

The Retro Classic full-size keyboard was shown in a new orange leather color, which went well with an entire system a wrist rest and mouse pads as well. This was next to another wood option, this time a lighter tone that went well with the white keycaps as opposed to the darker grain wood and black keycaps from the previous version. AZIO also showed off more mouse pads under the R.C. Mouse Pad name in two sizes (medium and XL) and multiple genuine leather color options to match the rest of their portfolio.
