DELUX M800 Ultra Review

Introduction

DELUX Logo

Established in 1994, DELUX is a peripherals company based in China. After the M800 Pro (3395) and M800 Pro Highspeed, DELUX comes out with another variant of their M800, the M800 Ultra. Compared to the aforementioned variants, the most distinctive feature of the M800 Ultra is its much lower weight of 52 g, which is achieved without resorting to holes or an open-bottom design for weight savings. Much like the others, the M800 Ultra comes with PixArt's PAW3395 sensor rated for 26,000 CPI and Huano (blue shell, pink plunger) switches rated for 80 million clicks for the main buttons. DELUX cites a battery life of 60 hours for the 300 mAh variant, presumably in 2.4 GHz operation and at a polling rate of 1000 Hz, battery life using Bluetooth is likely to be higher. To save as much weight as possible, the M800 Ultra does without RGB lighting, but has the usual assortment of options in the software. In addition, DELUX also offers the HyperSpeed Wireless receiver as a separate purchase, which may be paired with the M800 Ultra to achieve true 4000 Hz wireless polling. The M800 Ultra is available in black, white, blue, or pink, and in a 300 or 600 mAh variant.
